The film takes place in Italy. It’s a journey through peasantry along with history and politic.

Every picture of the film is shot in live action and then fully redrawn with a special technique.
We prepared some of the live-action footage: adding background elements or inserting character. Even sometime making full-3D scene.

A feature film directed by Dominique Lienhard:

An isolated village between sea and mountain. Its inhabitants struggle to survive.
Lighting big fires on the beach to attract lost ships and steal their freight.

After a few days supervising the VFX on the set in Corsica (France) we’re worked on more than 40 VFX shots:
Background extension, sky replacement,green screens, de-aging,…
